A British teen tourist was reportedly raped in the toilets of a bar in Crete just metres away from her unsuspecting parents earlier this week.
The heinous attack took place on Wednesday night after the 16-year-old holidaymaker was enjoying an evening with her parents at a bar in the tourist hotspot of Malia.
The young victim excused herself to go to the toilet, where she was allegedly set upon by an attacker who followed her into the bathroom.
The attacker fled the scene, but Malian police ascertained his identity upon reviewing CCTV footage from the bar after the horrified victim reported the ordeal later that night, Greek outlet Protothema reports.
Police are now hunting the 28-year-old Pakistani national they believe carried out the attack.
