A Putin propagandist has told Russia to ‘wipe out’ the UK in a TV rant taking aim at Grant Shapps and Rishi Sunak over their support for Ukraine.
The demand came from leading TV propagandist Vladimir Solovyov and top military expert Lt-Gen Evgeny Buzhinsky.
‘It’s a war, you’ll get the whole programme,’ said Solovyov. ‘Goodbye, Little Britain… You declared war on Russia? Take a beating.’
Hardliner Buzhinsky, a former Russian defence ministry senior official, declared on a mainstream TV show: ‘To say that they are not at war until they kill our soldiers directly – they do.
‘They’re killing with their weapons, with their direct involvement. I’m saying, guiding missiles is…[being at war].’

Solovyov said: ‘The British defence secretary [Grant Shapps] says they’re at war with us’
Solovyov said it was ‘direct participation in a military conflict’ and Buzhinsky said Britain was engaged in a ‘combat mission’.
The Russians noted Shapps comments as he toured MBDA, the arms giant behind Britain’s Storm Shadow missiles, which are being supplied to Ukraine for use against Vladimir Putin’s invaders.
The defence secretary said: ‘I do think the Storm Shadow has been an extraordinary weapon.’
He stressed: ‘It’s the UK, France and Italy positioning those weapons for use, particularly in Crimea. These weapons are making a very significant difference.’
Putin broke international law to forcibly annex Crimea from Ukraine in 2014, and now regards it as Russian territory.
Solovyov asked his viewers on Putin-controlled state TV: ‘What’s the point with these Sunak and others?’
His rant went on threatening to exploit the current political turmoil in Scotland.
‘By the way, if you need any help, arms, whatever, let us know,’ he said. ‘We’re always helping freedom fighters.
‘Stonehenge must be liberated, mustn’t it? And returned to its true owners, the Celts…’
The threats from Putin’s propaganda warriors appear to reflect their fury that the West is again cranking up arms and ammunition supplies to Ukraine.
A day earlier another prominent Kremlin mouthpiece Dmitry Kiselyov vowed to sink Britain under a nuclear tidal wave and reduce the US to radioactive ash if NATO sends troops into Ukraine.
