Katie Price showed off her brand new cinema room at her Mucky Mansion home on Wednesday.

The former glamour model, 45, failed to pay over £750,000 in unpaid tax – and will face losing her home unless HMRC can recover the money.

Last month, she failed to appear at a court hearing in London with an official from HMRC saying she had failed to pay any money owed or responded to any correspondence since the demand was made for the unpaid tax last year.

However, the mum-of-five has now splashed out on a massive TV screen, where she can enjoy family movie nights.

The luxury instalment, from thefeaturewall.co.uk, also features a cosy fire heater underneath and pink walls.

Katie was speaking exclusively to the Mail’s comedy podcast, Straight To The Comments! when the news broke that she had been declared bankrupt for a second time.

When told a story about her had just broke, Katie gasped in shock and said: ‘Has it? Oh get lost! Are you actually serious, while I’m sat here? What have I done now?’

The star then explained she had been signed off because of ‘serious stuff’ in her life.

She continued: ‘I just can’t cope with going to a court. Mentally, I can’t do it.’

Host Josh Pieters asked when her debts started accumulating, with Katie explaining: ‘Since my breakdown. When you are ill and depressed everything accumulates.

‘If you can’t cope with something or you haven’t paid that bill. Communicate, don’t ignore because when you ignore it, it just gets worse.

‘It does upset me because they don’t know how hard I’ve tried mentally to get out of that rut that I was in. A rut that I hung myself and thought I’d died.’

Meanwhile it was reported in February that Katie’s beloved horse, Wallis, had been taken away by bailiffs until she repays her debts.

Katie purchased her horse for £250,000 back in 2009, and regularly shares snaps of him on social media.

But neighbours claimed that the animal had since been seized, along with another horse.

They told The Sun : ‘Katie’s neighbours said they believed Wallis has been taken by the bailiffs along with another horse she has.

‘They haven’t been seen for a while now and they said they have been telling people they have been taken as part of HMRC’s action to try and get back money.

‘Wallis is Katie’s pride and joy so if this is true she will be devastated.
