Skye Wheatley’s ridiculous reaction to her iPhone breaking reveals the sad state of social media influencers

Skye Wheatley has left fans baffled with her extreme reaction to her iPhone breaking as she was left in floods of tears in a series of videos.

The I’m A Celebrity! Australia winner, 30, took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday to share a series of life updates with fans, but quickly became emotional.

In the first video, she told how she was having the morning from ‘hell’ after her iPhone 15 – which cost upwards of $1,500 – suddenly broke.

Skye – who has an estimated net worth of as much as $65,000 – said she has a back-up phone but was still left sobbing over the unfortunate technology mishap.

‘I’ve had the morning from hell and I’m really struggling to be positive right now because it’s been an eventful morning. My iPhone 15 has s**t itself,’ she shared.

‘I’m using my back-up phone right now, so good. Praise be that I have a back-up because Apple you f**king suck.

‘I f**king hate you Apple, your s**t is so expensive and it’s just causing an inconvenience. So that’s so good.’

Skye went on to say that she plans to visit the Apple store to get her phone fixed, before returning in front of the camera in floods of tears.

She said her iPhone breaking and her TikTok account being banned had left her feeling ‘stressed’ as she spoke through tears.

She said: ‘Do not cry b***h you just did your make-up, do not cry, do not cry. Also the TikTok thing, that’s not coming back. I actually feel like I want to run away and just peg my phone out the window.

‘Technology is too much! It’s so f**ked, and it’s my job, that’s the stressful thing, I always have to be on the phone.’

The former Big Brother star went on to admit that the technology mishaps had left her wanting to ‘retire’ as she shared her woes with her 666,000 followers.

‘People are dying, there’s s**t going on in the world, don’t cry over a phone, but it’s not just the phone, it’s actually everything,’ she said through tears.

Her latest post comes just days after Skye revealed she was scammed after her TikTok account was taken down.

She took to Instagram to reveal that a fix account she had recommended to her fans was actually a con as she opened up on her struggles.

She shared a message from one follower who had fallen victim to the alleged scam as she warned her fans to avoid anything she said about the account.

Skye begged her fans to ignore her recommendation of the account and said she hadn’t ‘rationally’ thought about the post due to her ADHD.

The reality TV star shared a screenshot of an account offering engineering services which she alleged had scammed her after she tried to get help from them in restoring her taken-down TikTok account.

Detailing her error, she shared: ‘I feel really bad now because I’m going through some s**t and I’m like oh my f**king God, I shouldn’t have posted what I posted.

‘But because of my ADHD I have what my mum calls knee-jerk reactions so I do things without thinking it through realistically and rationally.’

She claimed the account was recommended to her by one of her followers, who said they had helped her to restore her account after she was ‘banned’.
