Travis Scott breaks silence after being arrested for ‘disorderly intoxication and trespassing’ in Miami

Travis Scott has broken his silence after he was arrested for “disorderly intoxication and trespassing” in Miami.

Kylie Jenner‘s ex – whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster – was released from Miami-Dade jail on Thursday after posting bond, according to court documents.

The 33-year-old rapper submitted a $650 bond – $500 for the trespass charge and $150 for disorderly intoxication.

He later took to X to share what he thought of his arrest, simply writing “Lol”.

Travis was arrested at 1:17 am on June 20 and was booked at 4:35 am at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

According to Miami Beach Police Department officers, Travis was arrested for causing a “disturbance” on a charter boat at the Miami Beach Marina, where he “was drunk, and asked to leave multiple times.”

Officers said he “became irate screaming profanities, left and returned to disturb some more”.

Travis’ arrest comes just before his international Circus Maximus stadium tour kicks off next week. The tour starts on June 28 at the Gelre Dome in Arnhem, Netherlands.

Travis’ arrest comes after he was allegedly involved in a brawl with Kylie’s ex, rapper Tyga at a party during the Cannes Film Festival last month.

Fan footage showed Travis, Tyga, and several other people engaging in a fight that began behind a DJ booth at a party hosted by promoter Richie Akiva.

Travis shares two children with Kylie, Stormi, six, and Aire, two. They dated on and off for years but have remained close since their split in January 2023.

They broke up once before in 2019 before rekindling their romance during COVID-19.

Before the birth of Aire, Kylie explained how she looked to her parents Kris and Caitlyn Jenner’s parenting example for inspiration with how she and Travis should take care of Stormi, despite their split.

“[Travis and I] both love Stormi and want what’s best for her”, she told Harper’s Bazaar. “We stay connected and coordinated.

“I think about [my parents], in situations with Stormi, what they would do. They were very hands-on with me, and I want the same for Stormi”.

Following this principle, during the pandemic, the romantically estranged couple chose to quarantine together so that they could both be with Stormi. And in a delightful twist for fans of the pair, lockdown led to the two relighting their spark.

Kylie and Travis met at Coachella in 2017. “Coachella was one of the stops on his tour,” Kylie told GQ.

“So he said, ‘I’m going back on tour – what do we want to do about this?’ Because we obviously liked each other.”

She continued: “And I was like, “I guess I’m going with you.'”

The couple were later spotted looking besotted with each other at various events and on their social media. In June 2017, they revealed on Snapchat that they’d got matching tattoos.
